Will VR (Virtual Reality) headsets soon replace the classic display setup in the home office? Will it soon be possible to virtually display any number of screens? Yes, even to change the office room in which I work virtually and at will?

Facebook Reality Labs (the developers behind Oculus) presented their new VR headset Oculus Quest 2 in September 2020. In addition to gaming, Facebook presented a decisive new development focus: collaboration and working in the home office. This is to be realised with the app Infinite Office, which was specially developed by Facebook. This aroused my interest and I promptly ordered one of these new headsets. As soon as I received it, I tried to find out the following: Is the Oculus Quest 2 in its current form an alternative to traditional displays? Does the Quest make working in the home office more pleasant or is it more of a gimmick?
