If you want to find out in advance whether the control unit makes sense at all, henceforth, it is best to check whether the existing products are compatible. Velux App – Be patient

The Velux Active app will hang itself a few times without any additional information on what did not work.

Velux is still trying to find a solution themselves and frustrating clients. Hence, the Velux solution with Netatmo is a costly disappointment.
Although, Velux Active is an Apple HomeKit compatible system. Hence, the smart control allows supposedly controlling various Velux products via smartphone, automatically, according to limited rules.
