Carmen Geiss (née Schmitz) was born in Cologne on May 5, 1965, and initially worked as a fitness trainer. In 1982 she was elected “Miss Fitness”. Between 1994 and 1996, she appeared on the television programme “Rudi’s Holiday Show”. She married her current husband, Robert Geiss, in 1994, and they have two daughters, Davina Shakira and Shania Tyra. The Geisses became known primarily through the television programme “The Geissens – A Glamorous Family”, which has been broadcast since 2011 and shows the life of a jet-set family.
