The hardware measures 18 × 26 centimetres: Significantly smaller than a DIN A4 sheet, slightly larger than an iPad, at 6.7 millimetres as thin as a conventional tablet, but lighter. It weighs only 350 grams instead of around 500 grams. The case is made of plastic, metal is found on the back. Three buttons below the display serve for operation, Micro-USB provides the power supply. The quality is neat, but not extraordinarily good. The design could use more sophistication. The surrounding edge has a small bead so that the display lies deeper.
This, in turn, is an e-ink display, as used in the e-book readers from Amazon and others. The resolution is 1872 × 1404 pixels over a diagonal of 10 inches. The screen is monochrome and unfortunately cannot be illuminated. If you compare the quality, for example, with the Amazon Kindle Oasis, there are worlds in between. The representation on the Kindle is sharper, more abundant in contrast, brighter, illuminable. Remarkable claims that its display is durable because it uses no glass.
